In 1388, I erected a magnificent palace in Jerusalem, featuring 25 rooms, grand staircases, and a panoramic view of the Dome of the Rock and is now an orphanage. My legacy endures in the mausoleum I built across from my palace where I am buried. As you stay in Room 204, let my story guide you through a time of wisdom and valor, celebrating Jerusalem’s rich historical and architectural heritage.

Welcome I am Room 206, where history whispers tales of resilience and compassion. I am Haseki Sultan, also known as Roxelana, consort of Suleiman the Magnificent, and his legal wife. And I’m honored to be your room during your stay.
Despite humble beginnings, I rose to prominence and played a vital role in shaping empires. In 1552, I founded the Haseki Sultan Imaret in Jerusalem, which is considered a safe haven for the poor and visitors of al-Aqsa Mosque since it offers hot meals throughout the year and especially in the holy month of Ramadan. As you stay in Room 206, let my legacy of compassion and resilience envelop you, celebrating the triumphs of the human spirit.
